Teachers and Pilots Encouraged to Receive Concealed Carry Training

Just about all citizens are eligible for concealed carry training. While arguably every citizen starts off eligible for a Concealed Weapons Permit, that piece of paper is much harder to attain than a certification of having received concealed carry training. You see, concealed carry training is the prerequisite training of getting a Concealed Weapons Permit. Such a permit allows a citizen to carry a concealed firearm in public, something one is not normally allowed to do.

Front Sight Firearms Training Institute, the nation's leader in firearms training, has a concealed carry training program which regularly leads to the certification of its graduates. While there are many prerequisites to attaining a Concealed Weapon Permit (no felonies, upstanding citizen, proper training), the concealed carry training at Front Sight is so extensive, that any denials for the application of a Concealed Weapon Permit are usually due to personal background checks, not holes in the applicant's training.

A person receives concealed carry training so that they can defend themselves better. For what better self defense training is there than complete certainty on how to draw one's concealed pistol faster and more accurately than an armed assailant? If one is worried about ever being attacked by an armed assailant, then being armed and having gun training is the smartest thing someone could ever do.

So that's why Front Sight and Dr. Ignatius Piazza encourage all Americans to receive concealed carry training: to protect themselves and their loved ones. Concealed carry training is one of the only firearms training courses that can be used to make oneself completely safe. What criminal would stand a chance -- being in fear as they always are -- if you were able to draw your weapon on them, and illustrate your knowledge of the weapon?
